Morning Sessions (10.00 - 13.00)
Q-GIS & DATABASE INTEGRATION
Learn how to combine GIS with databases to create maps and do spatial analyses. Using QGIS, attendees will learn how to import, display and join database information
to spatial elements (points, polygons). (MAX. 50 attendees)
R-CHAEOLOGY - INTRODUCTION TO R
Learn how to use the programming language R for archaeological data. We will show you how to work with the R programming environment and use archaeological datasets to do statistics and create graphs. (MAX. 32 attendees)

In order to keep costs to a minimum lunch is not included, but two main university canteens for lunch are available within a 3 min walk. Also, the city centre of Groningen offers ample opportunities for lunch at various price ranges.
Afternoon Sessions (14.00 - 17.00)
DRONE PHOTOGRAMMETRY
This workshop will be aimed at the workflow of using drone images to convert these to orthophotos and local elevation models (DEM) using photogrammetry. (MAX. 50 attendees)
SPATIAL STATISTICS WITH R - ADVANCED
This workshop will deal with the display and statistical interrogation of spatial data using R. As this is an advanced module, attendees are adviced to have followed the intro-
ductory R course (this year or previously). (MAX. 32 attendees)

Digital Archaeology Group
The Digital Archaeology Group (DAG) is an interest group based at the Faculty of Archaeology in Leiden. We organise meetings varying in character, but the general aim is to offer archaeologists the opportunity to discuss the use of digital technologies in their research and to receive feedback on it from a community of enthusiasts.
CAA NL-FL
CAA Netherlands - Flanders (CAA NL-FL) represents the Dutch and Flemish national chapters of the international CAA. Our organization is administered by four speakers, currently Ronald Visser, Devi Taelman and Jitte Waagen. In addition to academic, CAA Netherlands - Flanders aims to bring together professional and/or commercial organisations and individuals as well.
